Welcome to the home page for Team ISSOR Motorcycle Racing team. This website is an introduction to the team who formed to race together in the 2007 HMRC Junior Endurance Championship. They adopt a serious approach to their racing but the over-riding motivation is to have a good time and enjoy each and every meeting to the full. In 2007, deciding on a team name was the first challenge to present itself to the team at the start of the season. The name ISSOR is, quite simply, ROSSI backwards and the team raced under number 64 which is Mr Rossi’s race number 46 in reverse. Both riders are great admirers of the skill of Valentino Rossi and it is with tongue in cheek they say “so quick, Rossi looks like he is going backwards!” The team is based in Bearsden, Glasgow and for the last two seasons has consisted of Kevin Miller and Bruce Cobburn. The riders both cut their teeth in the Scottish Championship 400cc Series run by Kirkcaldy & District Motor Club and hosted at Knockhill in Fife. 2007 saw the formation of Team Issor to compete in the Hottrax Endurance Series and 2008 sees them enter the Melville & Scottish Championships racing 600cc machines. The 2009 season will see the addition of Neil Ewings to the team as they make a three pronged assault on the HMRC Junior Endurance Championship where they finished the season in 3rd place overall in 2007. See Latest News for details of this exiting new development. Please browse the site and feel free to contact us. The team appreciates your support.
