TEAM ISSOR TO RETURN TO RACING IN 2010 SEASON?

Those of you who know Kevin & Bruce will be aware that they work in Manufacturing and Property respectively. Accordingly, 2009 was a lean year in terms of their funding and sadly the planned collaboration with Neil failed to materialise. The season was confined to several test days at Cadwell Park, Donington and Knockhill.

The riders are extremely keen to return to the Hottrax Endurance Series in 2010 with a view to improving on their 3rd place finish of 2007.

Finalised details of race plans will appear here around February 2010. Please check back then.

TEAM ISSOR TO RETURN TO HMRC JUNIOR ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 2009 SEASON

After a successful season in 2007 finishing 3rd in the Hottrax Endurance Championships, and after a season of racing in the Scottish Championships in 2008, Team Issor have decided to return to the HMRC Junior TAG Endurance Championship for the 2009 season.

Another exciting element of this decision has seen the team recruit another member in the form of Neil Ewings. Based in Wimbledon, Neil will bring a whole new dynamic to each meeting.

As a keen biking enthusiast for many years, he has spent the last year honing his skills on a race bike by completing a considerable amount of track time at some of the top circuits in the UK. Both Neil and Kevin are off to Cartegena in Spain for winter testing in December in order to sharpen their skills and improve set up for the season ahead in 2009.

The team are looking forward to renewing aquaintances with everyone associated with the Hottrax Series in 2009.

Significant investment in the team has been made by Kevin with his recent purchase of a Mercedes Sprinter fully converted to living accommodation. This will represent a life of luxury in comparison to recent seasons. The same warm hospitality is assured for all…..and the van has it’s own fridge! Cool beer for 2009.

Your continued support is appreciated and the riders can be contacted via the email addresses shown below.

TEAM ISSOR FINISH 3RD IN HOTTRAX JUNIOR TAG ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP

The final race of the season was completed on the 7th of October 2007 at the Silverstone National Circuit. Team Issor finished a creditable 6th position in their class and 26th on track from a starting field of 42 riders.

Having travelled from Scotland to compete in every round of the series it is fitting that this result earned 3rd position in the championship. Congratulations to ETA Racing and Black Flag Racing for finishing 1st and 2nd respectively. The team would like to congratulate all the riders involved for a fantastic performance.

The team would also like to thank all the competitors for participating in a superb championship.

Particular thanks go to all of the team at Hottrax Motorsport for organising and delivering a brilliant inaugural National Endurance Championship.
